Since its inception in 1997, Sport Turf Supply, Inc. has been able to bring the comprehensive agronomic and turf management skills of its founder, Philip Green (a.k.a. Dr. Dirt), to its clients for affordable, healthy and safe playing surfaces. With over 40 years in agronomy, Green has been ahead of the proverbial pack organic biology, foliar “spoon" feeding, and cultural practices in agricultural and turf management. Having started early in his career with fertilizer formulation, Green (“Dr. Dirt”) has been highly respected for his innovative approach to the golf maintenance and sport turf industries. With the addition of STSag, our agriculture division, he has made great strides with family-owned and commercial farms, cutting costs and increasing yields with his quality biological soil programs.
